No Outsiders
The vision for No Outsiders is inclusive education promoting community cohesion to prepare young people and adults for life as global citizens.
No Outsiders
Our school ethos is built on a strong sense of belonging, where every child understands that they are valued, respected and welcome.
Through carefully chosen picture books, lesson plans and weekly assemblies, children explore what it means to live together respectfully and celebrate our differences.
As part of the No Outsiders programme, children learn that everyone is welcome and there are no outsiders in our school. They develop an understanding of the protected characteristics outlined in the Equality Act 2010 and explore how equality, inclusion and respect apply to everyday life.
Our school values are summed up in the message:
“All different, all welcome.”
Each week, our assemblies provide opportunities for children to discuss and explore the Equality Act in real-life situations. They confidently share their ideas, ask thoughtful questions and demonstrate an impressive understanding of how we can make sure everyone feels included and valued.
We are incredibly proud of how our children embrace the No Outsiders ethos and help to make our school a welcoming place for everyone.
